The managers of Château de Poncié have found a way to turn a visit to a wine estate into a delightful family experience.

Who said that visits to wine estates were only for adults? Certainly not the management at Château de Poncié. This estate, located in the commune of Fleurie, takes special care to welcome children. It’s always a pleasure for them to join their parents for a tasting session. All sorts of farm animals are waiting for them in the château’s gardens, and they can always enjoy a glass of grape juice while their parents taste the estate’s wines. This year, they’ll have an extra reason to come to Château de Poncié. A treasure hunt has been devised especially for them. Before he died, the lord of Château de Poncié left clues to guide his brother to a treasure. The riddles he left along the way to the treasure will force children to rack their brains and take a close look at their surroundings, with each answer taking them to a different part of the estate: the vineyards, the orchard or the vat room. At the end of a walk lasting around an hour, they will find the treasure hidden by the Lord of Poncié. We won’t reveal the contents of this treasure, so as not to spoil the surprise, but you can be sure that it will delight young and old alike!
