Children love animals. Touroparc’s animal garden offers them a unique opportunity to feed the giraffes, chimpanzees and hippos on a Prestige tour.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was a day full of memories for Chlo\u00e9 and Ma\u00eblle, aged 4 and 2 respectively. It wasn’t their first visit to Touroparc. But this time, it was for a Prestige visit that they went through the gates of the animal park. Accompanied by a caretaker, they were able to get up close and personal with 4 species during their afternoon snack. After discovering that giant tortoises are not so slow when it comes to being offered a piece of melon, they were able to feed an imposing hippopotamus and some mischievous chimpanzees. The highlight of their visit, however, was a stop at the giraffe enclosure. The two little girls fell under the spell of the big, gentle eyes of a couple and their giraffe, who had come to eat out of their hands. It was a moment they will remember for a long time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We saw lots of animals. My favourite part was the giraffes, and I got to feed the little giraffe.<\/p>\nChlo\u00e9, 4 years old<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Prestige tours take place from 2pm to 3.30pm, subject to prior booking. The cost is \u20ac45 per person. Children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult to take part in the Prestige tour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

TOUROPARC in figures: the park covers 12 hectares and is home to 600 animals. 140 different species are represented.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
